Bishop David Oyedepo has issued a warning to women who practice feminism

When the Bible says to submit yourself to your husband, they say that’s outdated; we are too smart for that, there’s no difference between male and female.

No matter what you are going through. GOD is more than able to see you through.

God is able to do

Customers never buy because of product features. They buy because they perceive some "benefit" to those features.

Unfortunately, most sales and marketing messages talk about features and let the customers try to figure out the benefits. That's asking your customer to do your heavy lifting for you.

You'll get more customers, more quickly, if you communicate the benefits of using your product rather than the features it possesses. Here are six rules for doing so, based upon a conversation with one of my favorite sales gurus, Barry Rhein:

1. Know the difference between a benefit and a feature.

A feature is something that a product or service "is" or "does." A benefit is something that the product or service "means" to the customer. For example:

Wrong: "This car has a reinforced safety roof." (feature)
Right: "This car keeps your family safe." (benefit)
2. Use vivid but plain language.
Customers will remember a benefit longer and more easily if it's expressed using simple, strong words that evoke emotion.

Wrong: "This roof provides protection in the event of a rollover accident."
Right: "If this car rolls, there's a good chance you'll walk away unharmed."
3. Avoid biz-blab and jargon.
Nothing leaches a benefit of emotion more than the use of tired business cliches or overly technical terminology.

Wrong: "Robust implementation of 80210 protocols!!!"
Right: "You can connect virtually anywhere."
4. Keep the list of benefits short.
Most people can only hold two or three thoughts at one time in their short-term memory. Long lists of benefits just cause confusion.

Wrong: "Here are the top 10 benefits of using our product:"
Right: "The two most important things to remember are..."
5. Emphasize what's unique to you or your firm.
Benefits that are generic to your product category can convince a customer to buy... but not necessarily from you! Use benefits that differentiate you from the competition:

Wrong: "Our software makes you more productive."
Right: "Our customers report an average 30% decrease in costs, about twice the industry average."
6. Make your benefits concrete.
Customers ignore benefits that are abstract and expressed using vague adverbs and adjectives. Benefits that are concrete and specific are more convincing and "stick in the mind."

Wrong: "We can radically reduce your inventory costs."
Right: "We decrease inventory costs by an average of 25%."

HANDLING SUCCESS

I discussed handling failure properly yesterday. However, handling failure properly is not the only factor that can affect success in life; there is also the need to learn how to handle success correctly. Many people have eventually failed in life because they did not know how to handle their success.

In 1957, a man won £75,000 in a lottery. In those days, you could buy a flat in London for a tiny fraction of that sum. One day in the early 1980s, somewhere in Western Nigeria, I saw a man that was wearing rags, sitting beside a building that had collapsed in half. I asked the fellow who was driving me, “Who is that fellow?” He said, “That is the man who won £75,000 in 1957.” The man had great prosperity but did not know how to handle it, so he ended up poor. A popular proverb inspired by Proverbs 21:20 says that a fool and his prosperity are soon separated. If a fellow is not wise enough to handle success, it can turn out to be the beginning of great failure.

Don’t get over-excited when success comes. Many people start rejoicing and partying after a victory, forgetting that the devil never relaxes. What actually happens is that the devil becomes more determined to bring such people down. Don’t miss prayer meetings or your personal devotion because you are celebrating a victory. Yes, you won the battle, but the enemy is not dead yet; he is still roaming, looking for whom to devour (1 Peter 5:8). You should increase your commitment to God after every victory and not the other way around.

The devil knows that after successes, people are likely to relax, so he usually attacks them during such periods. After David killed Goliath, he raised King Saul up against him. It was after Elijah called down fire from heaven that Jezebel swore to kill him (1 Kings 19:1-3). When you attain success in a particular thing, you must not relax. You must remain alert and ready for battle. Don’t let success distract you from the end goal that God has called you to achieve.

One great success we had in RCCG was a programme called Lekki ‘98, where over six million people gathered in one place to worship God. Immediately after that programme, we doubled our missionary efforts, sending missionaries to new territories. We immediately started planning the next edition of the programme, and today, we have held much bigger programmes because we doubled our efforts and did not relax after our success.

KEY POINT:
When success comes, that is the time to work more, not the time to relax.

We need to start taking more responsibility for our health.


What is health ?

Health is a state of well being. A state where you are free from illness and injury.

The time you are having any symptom at all is that the organ involved is talking to you.

Taking medication without seeing doctor is very wrong.

Mind what you eat. Have a control appetite.

Early detection is better than trying to control what has already happened. Early taking of responsibility

Mind what you Eat, you must eat a deliberate balance diet.

Be careful of fatty and processed food. Especially when you are close to 40 and above.

Regular exercises and regular medical check. It has to be regular. We must take conscious responsibility for our health. Its God's desire to be in Health but it's our responsibility.

If you desire many days as the Word of God says, then take conscious responsibility for our health. The same WAY we take responsibility.

How To Plan Your Life by Myles Munroe (Planning For Success)


God gives every one of us visions but it is our responsibility to come up with plans on how those visions would be actualized. If God has shown you where you should go, you must map out a roadmap to get there. Prayer and faith are not substitute for plans. In fact, planning gives substance to prayer and planning is proof of faith.

Contrary to what many think that when you plan you might not need prayers, when you have plans you will never run out of what to pray for. Because until you have plans you cannot fulfill the scriptural instruction of committing your plans to the Lord for Him to direct you.
I got this from the book Principles and Power of Vision. If you wouldn’t read any other book from Dr. Myles Munroe. I strongly advise you to read this one. Planning is only one of the 12 major keys to success discussed in the book.

isolation. By design, God created every individual to fulfill their visions with the right company/partners. To chase a vision in isolation is to reject God’s provision of human resources.

Based on the needs you have identified in step 2, you should identify individuals who are gifted in such areas to help you with it. In the business world, it is called staffing your weaknesses. If you are finding it difficult to make friends, you will find this helpful.

6. How long should it take?
Planning like, goal setting, should have time frames. You shouldn’t just state what should be done and how to go about it but you must also identify when it should be done. Some goals become unfulfilling when they are achieved after certain times.


Although you have identified where you need to get to, you won’t get there in one step. You will need to take courses, gain experience, meet people, read books, and so on. These are all processes that will take you towards the vision.

Your plan won’t necessarily take you to your destination but it has done its job when it shows you the next step to take. Plans can change and that is normal. It is the act of planning that is the most important. Planning will always show you the next step, and that is priceless for progress.
