Thanksgiving is a debt to the heavenly Psalms 100:4. Without thanksgiving, you can't go near where God is or where the blessings are Psalms 22:3

To be unthankful is to be disconnected from everything God. And God is the source of every good things John 15:5

We are in the Era where unthankfulness will spread 2 Timothy 3:2 -- the plague of unthankfulness is spreading around the world. It's a destroying plague --- Psalms 28:5 Numbers 11:1

Whenever a people or an individual stop giving Thanks, things starts to go down. The forces of the Spirit are our lifting forces, we are not lifted by our own power. The favour of God is what differentiate us among men Malachi 2:2-3. Curses are blocked of blessings. Whatever we don't appreciate will begin to depreciate -- Acts 12:21-22 --- when you disconnect from the source, you begin to miss your resources. People stays in challenges because they respond to the challenges by complaining and mummurrings.

The more we are committed to thanking God, the more He will be committed to lifting and increasing you Psalms 115:14/92:1-3/11-12

Curses of Ingratitude

What is an Avanlanche?

An avalanche is a rapid flow of snow down a slope, typically occurring on a mountain. Avalanches can be triggered by various factors, including weather conditions, the weight of the snow, and the steepness of the slope. There are several types of avalanches, such as:

1. **Loose Snow Avalanche**: Starts from a single point and expands as it moves downhill.
2. **Slab Avalanche**: Occurs when a cohesive layer of snow breaks away from the underlying layer and slides down the slope. This type is the most dangerous and can cause significant destruction.

Avalanches can be natural, triggered by factors like heavy snowfall, wind, and temperature changes, or they can be human-caused, often by skiers, snowmobilers, or construction activities.

In addition to snow, the term "avalanche" can also refer to similar events involving other materials, such as rock avalanches or debris avalanches.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday expressed satisfaction with the level of ongoing work on the newly refurbished Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, Iganmu, in Lagos.

He said the Centre, formally known as the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, would soon be completed and ready for public use.

Governor Sanwo-Olu spoke on Sunday during an interview with journalists after he led some state officials and stakeholders on a tour of the theatre in Iganmu.

Sanwo-Olu said the newly transformed Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, which can be compared to the World International Centre, would be completed in about four months.

The Governor also commended the Bankers Committee and stakeholders in the creative sector, which collaborated with the Lagos State Government to transform the National Arts Theatre to bring back the glory of the edifice to meet international standards.

Governor Sanwo-Olu who was very excited by the transformation in the Centre in the last four years, said that when completed, the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts would promote arts, tourism, and culture, adding that it would also be a place where the international community could converge for conferences and host world-class performances, among other activities.

He said: “I am truly excited at the work the Bankers Committee has been able to do. They have truly shown us that when we put our minds to things as a country and as a people, we can get the best out of ourselves.

“When we all came here four or five years ago, we were discouraged and saddened by what we saw at one of our national treasures. But what has happened in the last four to five years, and with what we see today during our tour, we have brought back the old glory even in a bigger, better, and more transformative way. I commend all the professionals and companies that have put this together.

“I think it is going to be a place where international audiences will see that we are ready to take the world by storm in entertainment, tourism, creativity and, more importantly, business conferences and seminars that we all go to attend in other parts of the world.

“It is a one-stop shop that has everything you can imagine, comparable to any other world conference centre. It also has an additional flavour of arts and culture. By the way, the Blue Line train that we built all around here speaks to the entire infrastructure that has made this place a complete stop for Nigerians.

“The newly rebirth Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts is on the way to open its door to the public, courtesy of the Lagos State Government and the Bankers Committee that have done the work.

Also speaking to journalists, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, said the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, when completed, would compete favourably with the international community as a tourist attraction.

Aregbe said it would also promote the entertainment industry, take a lot of youth off the street, and generate employment opportunities for many Nigerians in the creative industry.

He said: “We are doing everything possible to ensure that the tourism, entertainment, and creative industries in Lagos are truly rising. Governor Sanwo-Olu is doing a lot for the people. The Centre is a huge one for citizens of Lagos.”

In the world of generative AI, a major challenge is knowledge cutoff.

An early concern with OpenAI's ChatGPT was the knowledge cutoff issue -- which means the large language model (LLM) only has knowledge of the world until a certain date. For example, the GPT-4o model that powers ChatGPT as of this writing has a knowledge cutoff of October 2023. With the older GPT-4 model, that cutoff was September 2021.


In contrast, a traditional search engine such as Google has no such knowledge cutoff. With Google search, the internet is constantly crawled to add the freshest possible information to the index. The challenge of knowledge cutoff in an LLM is one that multiple vendors are looking to solve with search capabilities powered by generative AI (GenAI). OpenAI is one of those vendors.

What is SearchGPT?
SearchGPT is a GenAI search engine built by OpenAI, first announced July 26, 2024.

GPT stands for generative pretrained transformer. The GPT family of LLMs including GPT-3, GPT-4 and GPT-4o are the foundational LLMs developed by OpenAI that power ChatGPT. With SearchGPT, OpenAI will bring some of the power of a traditional search engine and pair it with the capabilities of its GPT LLMs. There will be no knowledge cutoff with SearchGPT, as it mines real-time data from across the web.

SearchGPT is currently an OpenAI prototype, launched to a limited number of test users. There is also a waitlist for those who want to be part of the test group in the future. Test users include individuals as well as publishers. OpenAI is inviting publishers into the SearchGPT evaluation to ensure they are satisfied that their content is appropriately represented in search results.

The service isn't just a prototype, it's also positioned by OpenAI as being a temporary service. The goal is to test and evaluate how it works over time. When the evaluation is complete and OpenAI is satisfied with the progress, the plan is to integrate SearchGPT functionality directly into the ChatGPT interface.

As of August 2024, OpenAI has not explicitly stated when the SearchGPT service will be generally available or integrated into the primary ChatGPT experience for users.

SearchGPT features
SearchGPT will offer users many features to extend the capabilities of ChatGPT. Key features include the following:

Conversational AI. As SearchGPT uses the same LLM as ChatGPT, the service provides a natural language interface for asking questions.
Follow-up questions. The service will let users ask follow-up questions, making the experience more interactive and similar to a human conversation.
Up-to-date responses. There is no longer an arbitrary knowledge cutoff date. SearchGPT can ingest real-time information from the web to provide users with up-to-date information.
Summarization. In contrast with a traditional search engine that just provides a series of links to web addresses where more information can be found, SearchGPT provides concise summaries of the information.
Attribution. OpenAI is including clear attributions and source links enabling users to verify the information and explore further details on the original websites.
Visual results. A feature of SearchGPT is the delivery of visual results in the form of pictures and video to answer user queries.
OpenAI's answer to Google Search
Google has long dominated the search space. It's a position that OpenAI is looking to challenge with the SearchGPT prototype.

Answers, not links
A long-standing issue with Google search and traditional search engines in general is they are functionally indexes or pointers to other sources of information. A Google search doesn't necessarily provide an answer to a question, but it does point to where the answer can be found.

Google does provide an AI Overviews capability (formerly known as Search Generative Experience or SGE) that provides AI-generated summaries and snippets for quick answers. However, it primarily relies on presenting a list of links to third-party websites.

The goal with the SearchGPT prototype is to provide answers to user questions. Instead of just providing links, it will provide a summarization of the source, giving the user the information they need.

Contextual continuity
A traditional Google Search query is a point-in-time query where there is no carryover from one query to the next. With SearchGPT the goal is to provide the ability to maintain context across multiple queries.

Search accuracy
Traditional Google Search focuses on keyword matching, which can sometimes require users to sift through multiple pages to find relevant information. There are also concerns with traditional search engines over the practice of search engine optimization, which uses various to techniques to optimize search results. SearchGPT will combine real-time information with an LLM so more contextually relevant information will be found.

Ad-free experience
SearchGPT offers an ad-free interface, creating a cleaner and more user-friendly experience compared to Google, which displays advertisements in search results.
