Passion for God confers spiritual authority. - John 4:32-34
Passion for God gives you authority over physical limitations.
To be passionless is to be defenceless. - Gen. 18:26-27
The passion for God drives you in the direction of whatever God loves.
Your love for God should be unconditional.
Your opinion should be discarded when God speaks.
Your ultimate position in life is a function of your passion for God.
Whatever makes more meaning to you than God disqualifies you from spiritual authority.
Unction flows through passion.
The more passionate you are, the stronger the unction that flows through you.
There is no place that genuine passion for God cannot take you.
Passion supersedes playing religion.
Build your passion for God!
What you do to advance God's Kingdom as He keeps changing your level, determines the rate at which He changes your level.
You need sustainable passion to keep experiencing God's glory.
As your passion for God grows, your spiritual authority is enhanced. - Eph. 3:17-19
With a growing virtue, love has an unlimited capacity for growth.
When you grow in your love for God, things that others are afraid of become afraid of you.
As you live your life for God, you automatically displace fear around you.
It is love that makes you live more than conquerors.
The more you are in love with God, the thicker His covering around you.
What is Love?

3. It is placing God above all else, including yourself. - Luke 14:26

Don't personalize any issue; let the Word of God be your reference always.
What is in Your Love for God?
1. Love enhances unimpeded access to revelation. - John 15:15, Isa. 60:1
2. Love empowers faith to deliver maximally. - 1 Cor. 13:2
3. Love empowers obedience for supernatural breakthroughs. - Deut. 28:1-2, John 14:21
4. Love empowers the believer to live a failure-proof life. - 1 Cor. 13:8
5. Love enhances access to the anointing. - Ps. 89:20-23, Ps. 23:5

READ: 1 Kings 19:1-4

1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.

2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

MESSAGE

In today's Bible reading, after Elijah had called down fire on Mount Carmel, lots of virtue had gone out of him, and he needed to refill. He had just won a victory, and a revival had started, but he got down from the mountain to discover that Jezebel was as unrepentant as before. However, because the anointing upon Him was now depleted, he couldn't stand to face her, so he fled.

Sometimes, people do mighty things with the anointing, thinking that is all, but not long after they are done, they discover that more things that need the anointing are waiting. A fellow can raise the dead in church, and people will rejoice; however, when that fellow gets home, there may be another problem waiting to be solved with the anointing. This is why it is important to recharge your spiritual batteries as soon as possible every time you use the anointing.

Many pastors host programmes, and when hosting the programmes, they fast and pray. However, the moment the programme is over, they begin to feast and do not allow God to refill them with His anointing. By the following Sunday, people discover that it is not the same fellow who ministered the previous Sunday that is ministering because the anointing had been depleted and had not been refilled. Fasting and all other ways to become filled with the anointing are not to end when programmes end; they are to be a lifestyle. After periods of high spiritual activity where a lot of the anointing is used up, it is important to be refilled to at least the level that you were
before, if not even higher.

Beloved, you must remain vigilant and sensitive at all times because you have an enemy who never takes a break. He always goes around like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Have you just had a great victory? It is not time to let your guard down; it is time to return to the secret place to recharge and refill. It is time to guard your heart with all diligence so you can remain fit and relevant for God's next agenda. The Bible recorded many instances where Jesus retreated to refill. For example, after a major ministration in Mark 1:34, the next verse says that He retreated into a solitary place to pray. He's our perfect model, and we must do the same to remain relevant in God's kingdom.

KEY POINT
After every victory, retreat into God's presence for a refill.

TOPIC: OVERFLOWING MERCY

MEMORISE:
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved.” - (Ephesians 2:4-5)

40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

45 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

MESSAGE:
Many of God's attributes can be seen in the Bible, and one of them is that He is merciful. Today's memory verse says that He is rich in mercy, and this means that He has more than enough for everyone; hence, He can never run out of it. The Bible also says in Psalm 62:12:

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy...

The Scripture above tells us that mercy belongs to God. When something belongs to someone who loves you, you can rest assured that he or she will give you that thing anytime you need it. This means that as long as you belong to God, you will always enjoy His mercy.

Today's Bible reading tells the story of a leper who came to Jesus and said, "If you will, you can make me clean." In other words, he was saying, "I know you are merciful, but I don't know if that mercy extends to me. If you will have mercy on me, then I know I will become clean." Jesus didn't get angry at him; He reached out to him and touched him. In those days, it was forbidden to touch a leper, but when mercy shows up for a man, it breaks human protocols. Jesus also corrected the leper's wrong mindset. He told him, "I will; be clean." Jesus showed him that mercy is always available to those who come to Him. God never withholds His mercy from those who cry out to Him for it. When Blind Bartimaeus cried for mercy in Mark 10:46-52, Jesus heard his cry and responded. When a father cried for mercy concerning his son who was tormented by a devil, Jesus responded and delivered the child (Matthew 17:14-18). When the Canaanite woman cried for mercy concerning her daughter, even though it wasn't yet time for the Gentiles to experience God's merciful gift of salvation, Jesus responded, and the girl was made whole (Matthew 15:22-28). In the name above every other name, I pray that God's mercy will locate you and make you whole in all areas of life.

God's mercy is great. Psalm 57:10 tells us that His mercy is great unto the heavens. However, as great as God's mercy is, it is only available to those who genuinely repent of their sins, surrender their lives to Jesus, and make a commitment to living a holy life. Only those who fear God will partake of His overflowing mercy (Psalm 103:11).

KEY POINT:
Those who fear God will always enjoy His overflowing mercy.
