In the physical world, you need the law of gravity, in the spirit, faith is the law. You can not make progress in the realm of the spirit without faith. God is a Spirit and without faith you can not please Him. As gravity pull you down when you trying to act contrary to it, so also will your unbelieve always pull you down in the spirit.
