The Bible, A most Reliable Guide of Life

Ignorance of God's way can be costly if it's not deadly Jeremiah 2:14-17 -- when one forsake the way of God, his life becomes devastation.

What makes the Bible a most Reliable guide?

1. The Word is the creator's manual for profitable living 2 Timothy 3:16 Isaiah 48:17 -- Hebrews 4:2/10:7 --- the Word of God is the channel for human profiting in every department of life Psalms 139:16.

The Bible is not a book that tells story, it's a book that make good story of the believer Joshua 1:8

2. Engaging with the instructions of Scriptures and will make a star out of any believer Psalms 19:7 Proverbs 4:7 -- the raw materials for a star in the kingdom is wisdom Colossians 3:16 2 Corinthians 3:15. The Word of God is God's wisdom bank Luke 11:49 (Wisdom is know what to do and doing it. God's word always gives you a way out of any predicament) 1 Corinthians 10:13 Deuteronomy 28:1 (to rise to the top, you must adhere to instructions of the voice of God) 2 Peter 1:19 -- you just must "Take heed" to the dictates of His lead. It's walking the Word that makes a star out of any believer.

3. The Word of God is a manual that delivers on all circumstances, equal or unequal Matthew 24:35 -- The Word of God is the key to stability in an unstable world Isaiah 33:6. In the world of God, there is always an answer and solutions.



Requirement for being Guided by the Bible?


1. You must be born again John 3:3 -- you can't gain access to insight when you are not born again John 1:12 Romans 8:14 -- no man is smart enough to lead himself, you require the wisdom of God
2. You must be spiritual 1 Corinthian 2:14 -- it takes a spiritual man or woman to gain access to the leading and guidance of the Spirit. The light of God's Proverbs 20:27 -- God's word is light and that light is to light our candles. If the candle is not available because of carnality, there is nothing to light.
3. Be clothed with humility Psalms 25:9/12. God only teaches those He qualifies as meek. To be meek is to be humble and teachable. To gain access to the guidance of the Word of God, you maintain a meek and quiet spirit James 1:21 Numbers 12:3 -- God is always looking for a meek and humble men to lead them.


1. The Word shows the right way to go in every aspect of our lives Psalms 119:105. Break your life into various subjects and department, then take the Word to deal with each department.
2. The Word of God reproofs and correct to keep us on track 2 Timothy 3;16/17 - The Word tells us where we are wrong and where we are missing it. Anytime you look into the scripture, don't just look for the provisions it is promising your future but what it will correct in your presence - Proverbs 16:25


Covenant of Rescue


God is light .Every child of God is a child of light and we know that likes beget likes 1 John 1:5 James 1:17 -- God is light and every child of God is ordained to be lights.

We can't be held hostage when we put on the armour of light John 1:1-5 -- when a child of God begins to operate in light, he or she becomes unstoppable.

Jesus Christ, the pattern Son came to the world and He was unstoppable Luke 4:34/8:28 -- when the light come, darkness has to bow out. When we are lighted, darkness has no option but to bow out.

Access to light is the only way to be free from the assault of the powers of darkness Isaiah 60:1-3

The light comes by the Word of God Psalms 119:130 - when the light comes, the enemy can not stop you in the way. Any department of life that Satan still seems to have upper hands, it's a dark area that requires light. When the light comes, the devil bows out without struggles.

Being children of light is not enough, we must keep walking in the light John 12:35 (if you don't know where you are going, you are walking in darkness) Ephesians 1:18 -- the enlightenment that comes by the Holy Spirit is not only for our immediate liberty but for our continues liberty.

The Holy Ghost does not only empower us as a witness but keeps us steadfast 1 Corinthian 15:58 -- our steadfastness is a product of our depth of revelation. The price for my escape and your escape has been paid by Jesus Christ, the key to your escape is Salvation. You don't have to remain in that cage.
