Towards Actualizing the Fortune 2024 Divine Agenda
The principal catalyst of FORTUNE is Favour Psalms 102:13-15 --- Fearful favour and high favour
Favour is what give a man an unfair advantage in the journey of life.
There is a price for favour -- Psalms 45:12 -- Favour is not fair bit also not free
Biblical Demands to Procure Favour
1. A proven new birth experience: our identification with Christ is the foundational requirement Matthew 7:21-23 -- Its not weather man call us Christian, it's when God call us His Children.
Proofs of Authentic Christianity
1. Clear manifestation of the fruits of the Spirit 2 Corinthians 5:17 Galatians 5:22 -- everyone of these 9 fruits are the gauges of the authenticity of our Christianity. Galatians 4:6 -- When the Spirit is sent into your heart, the Spirit must bring out the Character of Christ from you.
The believers does not call themselves Christ, people call them Christian because they reflect Christ Acts 4:13 Colossians 1:27 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (for example the light bulb) --- Christianity is not an emblem. The possession of Christ result in reflection of Christ.
2. We are born children of favour Ephesians 2:8 John 1:14
2. A quest to remain filled with the Holy Spirit - Acts 1:8 Psalms 45:7-12 -- The oil makes us to smell of favour. When God's presence is around a person, everything around that man becomes attractive. We are not to be filled once, we are to remain filled Ephesians 5:18 Acts 2:4/4:23/29-31 --- we need continuous refilling. The channel of prayer is the channel to be refilled Luke 11:13 --- The oil of yesterday is not sufficient for today. Until our spiritual fortune changes, there can never be a change of a physical misfortune Luke 2:52 1 Chronicle 28:4
3. Be commited to walking in the fear of God -- Those who fear God always fare well in the journey of life Genesis 42:18/39:21 2 Peter 2:9 Romans 11:33/22 --- Our righteous stand is critical. The goodness of God requires the Fear of God Psalms 34:10/5:12
4. Be committed to growing in revelation Proverbs 13:15 --- the more we grow in the Word, the more we grow in favour Luke 2:52 1 Samuel 2:26 -- as we grow in revelation, we grow in our access to favour.
5. Be committed to seeking God Kingdom as a lifestyle Job 5:7-8 --- if you want to be exempted from the troubles of life, you must fully turn your attention and seek Him with your whole heart.
6. Be committed to financial sacrifices towards Kingom Advancement Haggai 1;7-8 --- There things that God do for a man that man can not imagine by himself.
7. Commit to engaging a lifestyle of praise. Your heart must be full of melody, not full of complain Psalms 67:7 Acts 2:47 --- When praises goes up to God, favour comes down to man. when you are facing other things, praises become the main thing.
